Marla “Meringue” Parker is a costumer, artist, and performer. She graduated from the Maryland Institute Summa cum Laude with a BFA in Fiber.  Her work deals with issues of femininity and eroticism by creating characters, sumptuous outfits, and doing bizarre and wonderful things with both of them.  Marla believes in the power of thoughtful, innovative, and high-quality performance to transform the lives and minds of audience members, whether that transformation brings them to a beautiful, frightening, or just plain fabulous place.  Miss Meringue has toured North America with the Schalpentickle Family Burlesque and Revue, is a graduate of Trixie Little’s Burlesque Bootcamp, and can’t wait to see what the future holds with the Baltimore-based troupe, Sticky Buns Burlesque!
